Frequently asked questions
How tall are the Soufeel personalized portrait nesting dolls in each set size?
The tallest doll measures 6 inches (15 cm) in the 6-piece and 1-piece sets, and 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) in the 5, 4, 3, and 2-piece sets. The smallest doll ranges from 1.1 inches (2.8 cm) in the 6-piece and 5-piece versions up to 3.2 inches (8.2 cm) in the 2-piece version. Soufeel offers six size options so buyers can choose the scale that fits their shelf or gift box. Sizes are measured as height, not diameter.
How many nesting dolls come in a standard Soufeel custom photo Matryoshka set?
Soufeel sells these Matryoshka-style dolls in sets of 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 piece. The 6-piece set gives the widest range of heights, from 6 inches (15 cm) down to 1.1 inches (2.8 cm), while the single-piece option is a 6-inch (15 cm) doll. Each size tier creates a different visual stack, so a larger set means more nesting dolls to display. Every set is custom made to order based on the photos you supply.
What do I need to send Soufeel before my custom portrait nesting doll can be made?
You need to provide your own photos, since every portrait is custom-illustrated from the images you supply. Soufeel transforms those photos into an oil-painting–inspired artwork style rather than reproducing them as plain photographs. Because the artwork is illustrated from your pictures rather than hand-painted directly onto the wood, the likeness is built from the source images you choose. Placing your order starts with selecting a set size, from 6 pieces down to 1 piece.
Are Soufeel portrait nesting dolls hand-painted or made from photos?
They are custom-illustrated portraits based on your photos, not hand-painted dolls. Each set is transformed into oil-painting–inspired artwork, so the finished doll shows an artistic rendering of the person rather than a literal photo print. This illustration approach is what separates a Soufeel nesting doll set from a plain photo-printed wooden doll. The result is a decorative keepsake that highlights each person's character in a classic painting style.
Who are Soufeel personalized nesting dolls a good gift for?
They suit mothers, fathers, grandparents, couples, friends, and families of any age. Soufeel designs each set as a personal keepsake, which makes it a natural fit for Christmas, Valentine's Day, birthdays, or a housewarming. The dolls also work as home decoration, adding a personal touch to a shelf or mantel after the gift is opened. Each set arrives packed in a gift box, so it is ready to hand over without extra wrapping.
Is the Soufeel personalized portrait nesting doll worth buying?
It holds a 4.88 out of 5 rating from 300 customer reviews. A set is custom made from your photos and arrives in a gift box, which is the main reason buyers choose it over an off-the-shelf Matryoshka doll. Soufeel offers six size options, from a single 6-inch (15 cm) doll up to a 6-piece set. The illustrations are created in an oil-painting style rather than printed as raw photos.
