The breathable mesh panels really work well in summer heat and my kitten doesn’t overheat even during long subway rides downtown
This carrier is perfect for my small terrier—we’ve used it on hikes and city walks alike and he stays calm and comfortable the whole time while I have both hands free for navigating crowds or holding coffee
It fits snugly but not tightly—my anxious rescue cat actually purrs inside it now instead of trembling like she used to
The interior padding is soft yet supportive and the removable liner makes cleaning a breeze after muddy adventures
The leash clip inside is genius—I never worry about her slipping out when I pause to check my phone or tie my shoe
Sturdy zippers, reinforced stitching, and high quality fabric make this feel like a premium product worth every penny
The adjustable straps accommodate my petite frame and tall husband equally well—great for shared use between partners
My chihuahua loves looking out through the front mesh window and gets so excited whenever I grab this bag for our daily walk
The crossbody design keeps the center of gravity balanced so I don’t lean to one side like with traditional shoulder carriers
It folds flat for travel and fits easily into my carry on suitcase—super convenient for weekend trips to the coast
Even on humid 85 degree days my mini dachshund stayed cool thanks to the dual airflow vents on both sides
Frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions and weight of the Soufeel portable pet carrier backpack?
The carrier measures approximately 30 x 25 x 15 cm and weighs about 500 g when empty. Soufeel designed it as a compact hands-free bag that fits most small cats and dogs up to roughly 5 kg. The lightweight build keeps it easy to wear for longer walks, hikes, or shopping trips without adding strain to your shoulders.
What materials is the Soufeel pet carrier backpack made of?
It uses 600D high-density waterproof Oxford fabric with breathable sandwich mesh and a soft fleece lining. Soufeel also adds premium webbing, PVC panels, an alloy hook, and ABS buckles for structural support. The mesh panels allow steady airflow around your pet while the fleece inner surface keeps them comfortable during the trip.
How do I wear the Soufeel pet carrier backpack correctly?
Wear it as a front chest carrier or crossbody bag, then clip the 1.5 m leash to the built-in alloy hook. Soufeel includes strong ABS buckles and reinforced webbing so the bag stays stable while you walk, cycle, or use public transport. Adjust the straps before loading your pet so weight is distributed evenly across your body.
What should I prepare before using the Soufeel pet carrier for the first time?
Attach the 1.5 m leash to the built-in alloy hook and check that all ABS buckles are fully closed before placing your pet inside. Soufeel recommends letting your cat or dog sniff and sit in the carrier at home first so they get used to the fleece lining and mesh. Once they settle, you can switch between hand carry, crossbody, and chest positions.
Is the Soufeel pet carrier suitable for hiking and camping with a small dog?
Yes, it is built for outdoor walks, hiking, camping, cycling, and everyday errands with small pets. Soufeel uses a 600D waterproof Oxford shell and breathable sandwich mesh, so rain and airflow are both handled during longer trips. The crossbody and chest carry options keep both hands free on rough terrain, and the alloy hook plus 1.5 m leash adds a second layer of security.
Is the Soufeel portable pet carrier backpack worth buying?
It holds a rating of 4.88 out of 5 from 1309 customer reviews. Soufeel combines a 600D waterproof Oxford shell, breathable sandwich mesh, soft fleece lining, an alloy hook, and a 1.5 m leash in one lightweight carrier. It supports front chest, crossbody, and hand carry modes for walking, hiking, cycling, and public transport.
